OVERVIEW

CHASE LIN

welcome to my home on the internet

I made this space to share things I think about and things that inspire us. I'm Chase Lin. I'm a student of life and the universe. I love exploring worlds, philosophy, scientific discoveries, outer-space, and future technology. I often ponder about our purposes in the world, the meaning of a good life, and how to one day do something good for the world in return. I hope you'd enjoy your visit.

PHILOSOPHY

PHILOSOPHYWhat we create is a reflection of who we are. Having a strong character means to live with virtue and humility before we can love and respect others. Only then can we realize that innovation is a service for humanity and not a vehicle for self-fulfillment.

The subject of life, creativity, and the workings of nature and the universe is something of great interest to me. Most of what I share in my blog are thoughts that stem from books, web-surfings, and people I meet.

When we care for others, something extraordinary changes inside us. We'd begin to love and respect ourselves that'd inspire us to love and respect others in a continuous cycle. This cycle is the ultimate creative inspiration.

GAMING

GAMING

I want to one day make the kind of games that I can be proud of my kids spending 1,000 hours and $1,000 dollars playing. Games should not kill time but breathe life.

I want to one day make the kind of games that I can be proud of my kids spending 1,000 hours and $1,000 dollars playing. Games should not kill time but breathe life.

Games are doorways to other worlds that teach me about our own world and things I do not know about myself. I can see the impact of gaming can have on our subconscious and on our society. As creators, I believe we need to be more responsible and make sure the result of our creative process is meant to inspire and not to exploit.
